Industry Leading Trading Bots

May 28, 2021

Quadency’s bots make it easy to configure and automate many popular trading strategies on any pair, on any supported exchange!

Strategies can be very simple, such as buying an asset (eg. BTC) every day, week, or month (the Accumulator bot will help your audience do just that), or more complex ones based on technical analysis like MACD.

Quadency offers both Simple and Advanced trading bots so there’s something for every investor.

Bots by Type

What are Simple Bots?

Strategies can be very simple, such as buying an asset (eg. BTC) every day, week, or month (the Accumulator bot will help your audience do just that), or more complex ones based on technical analysis like MACD or trading strategies like Market Maker. Let’s have a look at Quadency’s Simple Bots.

Smart Order

This is the most basic bot possible. It can be used to place smarter orders with a profit target and a stop-loss level (fixed or trailing). Whether your audience wants to open long or short positions, this bot allows you to take profit or stop-loss.

Smart Order uses “hidden” orders to track internally the take-profit and stop-loss levels and only sends the order to the exchange if triggered. This has the benefit of preventing other traders from seeing your orders in the order book and your funds are not tied up in resting orders.

Accumulator

This bot used to run the famous Dollar Cost-Averaging strategy (DCA). Your audience can accumulate or buy a certain amount of assets over time. This is useful when uncertainty about future price exists or a large quantity needs to be purchased.

Indicator-based Bots

Quadency currently offers 5 indicator-based bots that are using technical indicators to enter and/or close a position.

  • MACD
  • DMAC (Dual Moving Average Cross)
  • Bollinger Bands
  • Mean Reversion
  • Multi-Level RSI

These bots allow your audience to enter a long position when a buy signal is triggered. The bot will then monitor both the price of the asset and the indicator’s level. These bots offer the possibility for the user to select the exit method:

  • Indicator confirmation: when a sell signal is triggered by the indicator, the bot closes the position using a sell market order
  • Take profit – stop-loss: when a profit-target/stop-loss is reached (the price went up or down by x%) the bot will close the position using a market sell order

Market Maker

Market Making is a trading strategy in which makers take profit from continuously buying low and selling high at tight spreads. The spread is the difference between the bid (price to buy) and the ask (price to sell). Market Makers provide liquidity on trading pairs at exchanges by reducing that spread, creating a healthier trading experience.

The Market Maker automates this strategy by placing buy and sell limit orders simultaneously.

Quadency’s Advanced Bots

Quadency also offers a wide range of Advanced Bots based on trading strategies like Rebalancing or Grid Trading. Let’s have a look.

Portfolio Rebalancer

Most simply, rebalancing a portfolio means re-distributing your asset allocation periodically over time. For this purpose, investors continually buy or sell assets in a portfolio to maintain their desired levels of asset allocation. Whether your audience wants to build a diverse portfolio or liquidate all their assets in favor of one, the Rebalancer will execute all the orders automatically and with ease.

To configure their bot, your audience only needs three things:

  • Select the desired assets and set their respective allocations.
  • Define the interval: hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, or one-time.
  • Select the threshold.
The bot will trade for you at the selected interval if an asset reaches the rebalancing threshold.

Grid Trader

This bot automates the popular “grid trading” strategy which seeks to profit from the volatility of the market by placing multiple buys and sell limit orders on grid lines around the current price. As the price moves up and down within the grid, profit is realized from each buy-low, sell-high cycle completed.

As the price moves up and down within the grid, filled orders are automatically replaced with the appropriate buy or sell orders to continue trading. If a buy order is filled, a corresponding sell order is placed on the gridline above, and conversely, if a sell order is filled, a buy order is placed on the line below. The longer the price stays within the grid, the more opportunities for profit exist.

Note: Our latest Grid Trader v2 also has an automatic, the bot will automatically calculate the upper and lower boundaries of the grid, to make it easier for the least experienced traders.

Market Maker Plus

Market Making is a trading strategy in which makers take profit from continuously buying low and selling high at tight spreads.
The spread is the difference from bid (price to buy) and the ask (price to sell).
Market Makers provide liquidity on trading pairs at exchanges by reducing that spread, creating a healthier trading experience.

The Market Maker Plus automates this strategy with some extra features.

Usually, Makers are sensitive to market moves as an asset could plunge before the Maker has the time to resell it at a higher price. However, thanks to the Inventory Skew setting, traders can apply strategies in both down and uptrends.

TradingView Bot

This bot can be used to turn alerts from TradingView into executable signals. Once activated, the bot monitors incoming messages from a TradingView account and executes the desired action in real-time (buy, sell, close position, stop bot etc).
